Local candidates on ballot as Libertarians

The St. Joseph Libertarian Party proudly announces the nominations of Tim Cotton and Charlie Florance as its candidates for the Indiana State Legislature. These nominations were made during the March 2 Libertarian Party of Indiana convention, where Cotton and Florance were chosen to lead the party's efforts in advocating for liberty and limited government in their respective districts.

 

Tim Cotton, a seasoned Quality Engineer with expertise in problem-solving and acting as the Voice of the Customer, has been nominated to run for the Indiana State Senate in District 10, encompassing South Bend, New Carlisle, and western rural St. Joseph County. In addition to his professional role, Cotton serves as the Chair for the St. Joseph Libertarian Party, demonstrating his commitment to advancing libertarian principles at both the local and state levels.

 

Charlie Florance, a prominent South Bend business owner and community activist, has been nominated to run for the Indiana House of Representatives in District 6, which includes South Bend. Florance's deep ties to the community and his advocacy for individual rights make him a natural choice to champion the concerns of District 6 residents in the state legislature.

 

The St. Joseph Libertarian Party is confident that Tim Cotton and Charlie Florance will represent the values and interests of their districts with integrity, transparency, and a steadfast commitment to libertarian principles.

 

They will join the top-ballot candidates running for statewide and federal races - Donald Rainwater and Tonya Hudson for governor and lieutenant governor, Andrew Horning for U.S. Senate and William Henry for U.S. House of Representatives, District 2.
